เรื่องราวในภาคนี้เป็นเนื้อเรื่องภายหลังจากภาคแรก 10 ปีให้หลัง กล่าวถึงดวงดาว E.D.N. III ที่มีปกคลุมไปทั่วทั้งดาว แต่แล้วหิมะเหล่านั้นได้ละลายจนกลายเป็นพื้นที่ป่าทึบเขตร้อน ซึ่งในภาคนี้จะเน้นเหตุการณ์สงครามกลางเมือง (ในดงป่า) กับพลังงาน T-energy ที่มีอย่างจำกัด ผู้เล่นจะต้องรับบทจากหลายๆหน่วยรบหลายๆกลุ่ม อาทิ Mercenaries, Jungles Pirates, Carpet Baggers, Vagabundos, Sand Raiders, Snow Pirate Elites และ New Nevec ซึ่งเราจะได้แต่ละทีมสลับกันไปมา เพื่อค่นล้ม Akrid เผ่าแมลงขนาดใหญ่ที่อาศัยอยู่ใน ดวงดาว E.D.N. III ซึ่งครั้งนี้พวก Akrid ได้ขยายกองทัพแมลงและมีพลังอำนาจอันน่ากลัวมากยิ่งขึ้น ถือเป็นสิ่งแปลกใหม่ที่เพิ่มมาจากภาคแรก ซึ่งในเนื้อเรื่องช่วงแรกแต่ละหน่วยรบจะต้องเป็นศัตรูกัน แต่ท้ายที่สุดเราก็จะได้บังคับและเลือกใช้ทั้งหมด เพื่อกำจัดกองทัพแมลง Akri
